We used Stephen’s services for our holiday property in Queenstown NZ and were delighted with the result for a number of reasons:

• His client manner and willingness to listen to what we wanted was fabulous.  We had some vague ideas that he successfully turned into workable combinations

• His ability to stick to a budget - as always money is limited.  We had a $100k budget for the interior and Stephen managed to keep within that figure (or very close to it!)

• His ability to work with colours - I have never seen someone so good at matching colours and combinations, both in individual rooms and as part of the overall colour palettes in the house

• Stephen was also great at pushing us out of a very conservative comfort zone - he would put suggestions forward and would modify and push (gently) - often with great results.

I was faced with the bare bones of an extraordinary Circular Quay apartment. Having started the design process on my own, I “hit the wall”, unable to coordinate even the first few purchases!

Stephen was recommended to me by a furniture supplier, and although sceptical of engaging an Interior Designer at first, he took little time to allay my fears. His ability to “read the client” was immediately obvious. His design choices were both insightful and exciting. From his first offerings and suggestions, I was won over! Stephen readily incorporated my existing purchases into an overall framework that went beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Stephen is, to my mind, one of the rarest of finds: a true professional in the highest sense of the word!
